Personally, I find that I use my U-He synth collection (Zebra, Diva, Hive, Repro-1&5) far more often than Arturia's synths, as I prefer the sound and functionality of U-He's synths.
The previous version had more flexibility to use multiple instruments simultaneously (but that version is no longer available to buy). Plus, they changed the multi-instrument split-keyboard functionality from Analog Lab 4 to V. Some of the cons are that Arturia plugins are a generally tad slower to load than many other plugins (probably due to their heavily bitmap-centric GUI design (even on an SSD) and they also have to communicate with the separate Arturia Software Centre licence manager).Īrturia's synths can be quite CPU-hungry too. The pros are that there are loads of very usable sounds in Analog Lab. By pressing the "map select" button, then the Analog Lab pad, you should set the midi codes for Analog Lab (Don't forget to press the "Map Select" button again to turn it off and keep the "analog Lab" setting) - Also, the Midi codes are permanently mapped for the "Analog Lab" setting AND the "DAW" setting and cannot be changed even in MCC. There is a midi mapping option on the keyboard.
